I’ll be appearing on Planet Good Radio, an Internet radio show hosted by Tea Silvestre, to discuss Social Entrepreneurship for Microenterprises and Solopreneurs. The show airs live at 3:00 PM Pacific, and will also be archived for later listening.
Social entrepreneurship is not just for large-scale, international enterprises; it’s a model North American small business owners can use to engage in social change. Social entrepreneurship is taking action to address social problems by using an entrepreneurial approach. Social entrepreneurs are business owners, founders and directors of nonprofits, and self-employed professionals. They aren’t merely socially-conscious entrepreneurs, or just socially-responsible businesses. These profitable enterprises exist for the purpose of serving a social mission, not to make money for the people who run them. Find out more or listen here.
